Wow, to see that name here.. This was not only my first mmo but also my first game on pc. i enjoyed it very much, i kinda felt like im home when logging in, there were a bunch of ppl who knew eachother, like you go online and si HI in region chat and evryone knows you like you were neighbours and greet back, ask how you were doing <- thats for the community and comfort. the combat and classes were pretty oldschool and OK for that time. the sea combat and ship system was nice too. but, it was all back then when i was a kid and i doubt it can be compared to any good mmo out now. i wouldnt rly recommend it actually.

Have to agree with every point here! Was also my first MMO and i liked the same things about it but sadly it's not recommendable. All you can do in that game is grinding and it's more or less p2w. But damn i had fun with that game back in the day.

It was released originally in 2008 some comments on MMORPG.com are positive but limited

MMORPG.com has the publisher listed as Burda Interactive, but the game's website appears to be chnaged to a company called Games In Flames

Their official forums appear to be dead with posts that go up once a week from the average user.

With that said, steam may give the game a second wind from players that never heard of it.

Oh wow, yeah, many many years ago.
Absurdly grindy game.
Cash shop was also kinda important because you could buy plates (?) that made it so your item was safe from breaking during the upgrade process which was later on absolutely essential to keep going. You also had to fish over the night, unless you have fun spending hours doing that as well (+ you need to level up your ship levels which are separate from your character levels).

It had some fun elements actually, but I would still recommend to stay away from it.

Is it that alaplaya game?

Anime MMORPG with ships?

It was definitely fun at that time, but that was years ago and didn't it go down tho?

Based on their site I don't expect anything moderately good.
